TOM EVENTS · SPONSORSHIP OPEN

Bring Your Customers Back. Meet New Ones.

Sponsor a TOM Event and invite your customers to a night they'll actually want to attend — while getting introduced to customers from other local businesses.

Only 4–8 businesses sponsor each event, creating an intimate room where businesses can reconnect with existing customers, build new relationships, and grow their customer network.

If you're excited to do an event, but want to get on the waitlist for an upcoming event so that we can pair you with the right co-sponsors, join the waitlist here.

The Core Idea

You're not buying an ad. You're buying access to relationships.

Traditional advertising puts your business in front of strangers. TOM Events puts you in a room with people your business actually wants to know.

Each TOM Event brings together 4–8 local business sponsors, and each sponsor invites customers from their own network. That means you aren't just reconnecting with your customers.

You're getting introduced to everyone else's.

The Model

One event. Every network in the room.

4–8 local businesses

Each invites their customers

One great event

Everyone meets

New relationships + new customers + re-engaged customers

Two Paths

TOM Events are built around relationships.

Not every business is looking for the exact same thing. That's why TOM offers two different ways businesses can use the event model.

OPTION 1

Joint Venture Customer Appreciation Events

Bring your customers together with other businesses' customers — while sharing the cost.

TOM brings businesses together so they can co-sponsor one great customer appreciation event instead of each business having to create and pay for its own event. Each participating business invites its own customers, and the businesses then co-mingle their customer networks, creating opportunities for customers to meet other local businesses they may not already know.

  • Shared event costs
  • Customer appreciation
  • Cross-introductions
  • Endorsements between businesses
  • New relationships
OPTION 2

Co-Sponsored Prospecting Events

TOM provides the consumer audience. You provide the business opportunity.

For businesses that are primarily looking to generate new prospects, TOM can create co-sponsored prospecting events where participating sponsors are given an opportunity to present their business, make their pitch, and network directly with a consumer audience.

  • Introduce their business
  • Present products or services
  • Meet prospective customers
  • Network with attendees
  • Build new relationships
  • Follow up after the event
The difference is simple.
Customer Appreciation: You bring your customers.
Prospecting: TOM helps bring the audience.
Both are built around the same idea: put businesses and people together in a room where relationships can happen.
Why It Works

Your customers already know you. Let's give them a reason to come back.

Every business has customers they haven't talked to in months. People who used to buy. People who haven't been in lately. People who love the business but haven't had a reason to return.

TOM gives you that reason.

TRADITIONAL MESSAGE

"20% off this week!"

TOM MESSAGE

"We're sponsoring an exclusive TOM Event and we'd love for you to join us."

Now you're not asking them to buy something. You're inviting them to experience something. That distinction is huge.

The Multiplier

Your customers aren't the only customers in the room.

This is one of the most important concepts on the website. Every sponsor brings their own network.

0 people

Everyone already has a reason to be there. You aren't walking into a room of 100 completely cold strangers — you're walking into a room where warm introductions are already built in.

Sponsorship Benefits

Your TOM sponsorship includes:

Your Customer Invitations

Invite your own customers, clients, prospects, friends and VIPs to the event.

Customer Re-Engagement

Give past and existing customers a reason to reconnect with your business in a social environment.

New Customer Introductions

Meet customers invited by the other sponsoring businesses.

Business Networking

Build relationships with the other businesses sponsoring the event — creating potential referral and partnership opportunities beyond the night itself.

Brand Visibility

Your business is featured as one of the event's sponsoring businesses across the event experience and promotional materials.

Your Business Gets a Moment

Each sponsor gets a structured opportunity to introduce themselves and explain what they do — without turning the event into a sales pitch.

Event Content

Professional event photos/content that sponsors can use for their own social media and marketing.

Post-Event Follow-Up

The opportunity doesn't end when everyone goes home. TOM helps create the framework for sponsors to follow up with relationships created at the event.

Ongoing Relationship Touches

A year of fun, engaging email touches to your list — twice a month — giving you an ongoing way to stay in front of your customers and continue the relationship after the event.

Why It's Different

We limit every event to 4–8 sponsors.

That's intentional. We don't want 25 businesses throwing logos on a banner. We want a small group of businesses with enough room to actually meet people. Each sponsor has an incentive to bring their customers. Each sponsor benefits from the other sponsors bringing theirs. And everyone has an opportunity to create relationships.

Sponsor → Logo → Exposure

Sponsor → Customers → Event → Relationships → New Opportunities

The Math

Your customer network + their customer networks.

INVITED CUSTOMERS

Now imagine your business brings 20. Those 20 people already know you. But the other 80 people are now potential new relationships — and that's before accounting for the relationships you build with the other four businesses.

You aren't paying to reach 100 random people.

You're helping create a room where multiple businesses bring their existing relationships together.

We've Got This

We handle the event. You bring the relationships.

Small business owners don't want another event to organize. They don't want to:

  • Find the venue
  • Coordinate vendors
  • Build the guest experience
  • Manage registration
  • Handle logistics or entertainment
  • Coordinate sponsors

TOM handles the event.
You focus on your customers.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Every TOM Event is limited to 4–8 sponsoring businesses. That's intentional — it keeps the room small enough for real conversations instead of a crowded trade-show floor.

Customer Appreciation events are built around businesses sharing a great night with their own customers. Prospecting events are built around TOM helping bring a consumer audience so sponsors can introduce their business to new people. Both put businesses and people together in a room where relationships can happen.

TOM does. Venue, coordination, guest experience, registration, and entertainment are handled by TOM so sponsors can focus on their customers and their conversations, not event planning.

Once you reserve a sponsor spot, TOM gives you everything you need to invite your customers, clients, prospects, friends, and VIPs — from messaging to materials.

Tell us about your business, and we'll show you upcoming events so you can choose the one that's right for you. Sponsor spots are limited to 4–8 per event, and when they're filled, they're filled.
